Hi, I’m Vera!
I’m a Ukrainian-American New York-based actress, writer and director originally from Ukraine!
I have been acting since 11 years old but made a slight detour by getting a college degree in journalism. After graduating college I spent 3 years professionally studying acting at HB Studio under Michael Beckett and Austin Pendleton, as well as at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where I studied Method Acting.
In 2018 I made a short film about my experience as an immigrant called Julia and the Island that was selected for the 18th Annual Coney Island Film Festival! In July 2019 Julia and the Island played in rotation on the Brooklyn Free Speech channel. I also wrote, directed and edited two other shorts that you can watch in the ORIGINAL CONTENT section of this site! Thanks for stopping by!
