Hi, There!
Hi, I’m Vera! I’m a Ukrainian-born actress based in New York. I arrived in Brooklyn, NY with my family when I was 8 years old and I credit watching regular doses of Full House and Saved by the Bell reruns for my accent-free mastery of the English language. Of course, I can perform a perfect Russian accent if you want to hear it!
I have studied acting at some of the best acting schools in NYC — HB Studio under Michael Beckett and Austin Pendleton, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and at T. Schreiber Studio. I also hold a B.A. degree in Journalism and Media and worked as a freelance reporter after graduating college.
I also love making original content! In 2018 I made a short film about my experience as an immigrant called Julia and the Island that was selected for the 18th Annual Coney Island Film Festival! In July 2019 Julia and the Island played in rotation on the Brooklyn Free Speech channel. I also made and starred in two other shorts that you can watch in the ORIGINAL CONTENT section of this site! Thanks for stopping by!
